The fertile soil, the climatological conditions and the proximity to the sea favour the production of excellent wines while the white grape varieties (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon) produce wines with character and rich aromas, which stand out in the domestic and international markets, achieving major distinctions.

The region also produces an excellent tsipouro (pomace brandy), made by small distillers.
