The Mussels and Sardines Festival is one of the region’s gastronomic festivals, which showcases the exceptional quality of the mussels and sardines of Keramoti, accompanied by local tsipouro and ouzo. It takes place on the first weekend of June in the port of Keramoti and lasts for two days.
The events include an amateur fishing competition for hobby fishermen in the port of Keramoti, live music, traditional dances by the local associations of the Municipality of Nestos and from abroad, as well as a rich array of dishes for all the visitors.
