At the sweetest festival to be held in the Municipality of Kavala you will have the opportunity to sample, for free, countless portions of yoghurt with honey and walnuts, traditional handmade delicacies and hot loukoumi donuts in the village of Zygos.
In addition to the exhibition of honey products and the sumptuous honey delicacies, at the event there are also dance ensembles and live music.
The festival is organized by the Beekeeping Association of Kavala and the Nature Lovers’ Cultural Association of Zygos, Kavala. It takes place in the village square on the first Saturday of August.
