If you find yourselves in Kavala in the evening, it is impossible for your eye not to be drawn to the lit footpath that ascends the mountain and reaches as far as Stavros. This is the most beautiful “kilometre” in the town. It is worth walking this route of 1,050 m, as this is the best point from where you can admire the whole town of Kavala as well as Thassos. This beautiful view will certainly take your breath away.
