This is located further up from the Megali Leschi. Its foundations were laid in May 1891 and it was completed in 1894, with money secured from donations, loans, lotteries and various contributions made by prominent tobacco merchants of the day. The donation made by the tobacco workers themselves is notable, as they offered a daily wage, contributing in this way to the construction of the building. The construction of a Girls School was an outcome of the flourishing tobacco trade in the town of Kavala. It is built in a simple, serious style, with a neoclassical character. Today, the building houses the 10th Primary School of Kavala.
